pumera was founded in 1999 as a publisher for Apple-related literature. Our goal of disseminating knowledge has never changed, but the medium is new. Many ideas we’ve envisioned since the start of the 21st century have now become reality and the possibilities of interaction know no limits. This is potential we’d like to see realized.
Reader interaction has never been more exciting and holds a great deal of promise, which is why we develop our digital books with our readers’ know-how, keep them up-to-date and link them to knowledge from the Internet.
Readers can obtain all of pumera’s books free of charge as a livepaper (with ads and without a download), at a low price as a pdf (without ads and as a download).
Upon request, we’ll also be happy to provide high-quality, hardcover books – as always, in color.

pumera – the knowledge platform

We’re more than just a publisher; we’re also a knowledge platform and welcome contact from authors and publishers looking to publish their Mac-related texts (as a livepaper and as pdf) in a digital format.

author compensation

We invite all authors interested in writing for pumera to contact us. We offer a fair and clear compensation model: the author is entitled to 50% of all earnings from pdf sales and from ads run in the livepaper.
For conventional books, remuneration is based on a success model fair to both the author and pumera.

book translation

pumera is a bilingual platform and we can easily translate books into English – the Internet is a virtual village (in which you just have to make sure you’re understood!).
The author receives 25% of the earnings for the translated version of his or her publication.
